What's a Crypto Game Object?

Crypto Game Objects are really the same things you would find or use in any game you play now. Things like weapons, potions, armor, etc. The difference is that each object is an NFT with a blockchain address and is owned by you, outside of a given game.

This means you can take your stuff with you from game-to-game!

Each crypto game object has some important attributes to consider, and different games may implement each slightly different, so let's walk through a quick explanation of what each attribute is about.

The Future Of Gaming NFTs Is Here!

Crypto Game Objects is an open framework and marketplace for NFTs that helps transform the way game players, designers, and developers experience & exchange in-game items and objects.

Anyone can own & use a Crypto Game Object, anyone can create a Crypto Game Object, and any game can support Crypto Game Objects — EVERYONE WINS!

The Crypto Game Objects Framework

There are three primary types of Crypto Game Objects:

  1. Objects you keep forever. No matter how many times you use them, you own them until you trade them, give them away, or sell them (these are like traditional NFT items, but you can actually use them in various games).
  2. Objects that transfer to the game developer when you use them in a given game. Once you've used up your item, and gained the in-game benefits, ownership of the item is transferred to the game developer (who can then reward to their players, keep it for themselves, or even sell it in the marketplace as an additional revenue stream for their game).
  3. Objects that transfer to another player when you use them in a given game. Once you've used up your item, and gained the in-battle benefits, ownership of the item is transferred to the player you targeted (who can then use the item themselves OR sell it in the marketplace for their own profit).
